Ahead of the Under-18s Professional Development League match against Queens Park Rangers, we caught up with forward Liam Roberts to talk about his journey in the Academy and the match this weekend.
The 16-year-old sat down with the media team on Thursday afternoon, and opened up about his mental health, how he deals with frustration and the coping mechanisms during training or a match.
After joining Fleetwood Town's Academy six year ago, the young forward signed on as a first year scholar back in the summer and is now looking to help his side in their new league format, as well as push himself with Matt Lawlor's Under-21s.
