Fleetwood Town’s Under-13s took part in Odd Socks Day at Poolfoot Farm this week to show their support for Anti-Bullying Week.
Odd Socks Day, which is typically observed on the second Monday in November each year, is a day when schools, workplaces, and individuals join together to show that it's okay to be different and to stand up against bullying and discrimination.
Before the boys trained in their odd socks, they were provided with a short workshop by our Education & Player Care officer Mason Seddon, where they were provided with the opportunity to discuss various situations and scenarios to improve their knowledge of what bullying behaviours look like.
The boys then worked together to identify ways in which we could challenge and prevent any sort of bullying behaviour in the future, and the coaches were extremely proud of all involved – great work in supporting a brilliant cause, lads!
